I started with a cup of hot water and fresh lemon juice. Then I got some exercise with Netfit.
Breakfast was mainly grabbing what I had since I hadn't been grocery shopping yet. I ate some plain yogurt with stevia. Then I had a whole grapefruit.
My mid-morning meal was sauteed onions and portobello mushrooms with poached eggs. Yes, I was hungry. Maybe it's just the thought of being on a diet that makes me feel more hungry!
Cabbage and Apple Salad
For the salad:
1/2 small head of cabbage, sliced
1/4 medium red onion, sliced
1 apple chopped
For the dressing:
1/3 cup plain yogurt
1 Tbs apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
dash cayenne pepper
stevia to taste
Tempeh "Wings" and Roasted Cauliflower and Peppers
For the roasted veggies, I put two 10oz bags of frozen cauliflower and one 10oz bag of frozen sliced peppers on a baking sheet, drizzled with a little olive oil and seasoned with garlic salt, then roasted at 500 degrees for about 15 minutes.
Makes 2 servings.
